Many people think of a farmers’ market as a summer treat, but in Morgan Hills we have the climate to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce all year! During the current season, expect to see a lot of fall and winter produce. Apples, squash and melons are on the list of items you can find this month, as well as a variety of organic veggies that can add color and flavor to your table. Round out your meal with fresh fish, and take home a bouquet of vibrant flowers to make a nice centerpiece for your dinner. With 35 farmstands offering local treasures, you have options.
Shop in comfort, basking in the pleasant temperatures of California Autumn. Discover how to cook new foods, or attend a taste testing event. Kids can enjoy games, face painting, and other activities (watch for scheduled Kid’s Days for even more things for younger attendees). There are special events for the entire family, throughout the year.
Follow the Morgan Hills Farmers’ Market Facebook Page to get updates about new vendors, seasonal crops and interesting recipes.
